Firesky Resort Scottsdale Wedding
We just got back from a long relaxing wedding weekend with the most amazing group of people. We knew all along that Christine and Jason were planning an amazing day, and it was only amplified by their awesome friends and loving family. Everyone was so delightfully relaxed and we all enjoyed watching the day unfold. Christine was absolutely radiant, Jason dapper and super fun.
Can I say how much I enjoyed the bridal party? Everyone is so talented and hilarious, the toasts were the best I've ever heard - especially when Silja the Finnish doll broke into here mother's thick Finnish accent and had everyone rolling in the aisles. The party continued into the early morning, with milk and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for snacks. You only get to be bride and groom once, and I don't blame them for not wanting it to end.
Now on to Jamaica, man!
The best part was walking back to my room, changing into my bathing suit and plunging into the hot tub. There is no better therapy for a tired wedding photographer body. Firesky Resort in Scottsdale is a delightful place to have a wedding, and they took very good care of everyone. Everywhere you looked there was a gorgeous, picturesque setting.
